Le nouveau bâtiment de HAUSER à České Budějovice

Cooling unit and refrigeration technology specialist HAUSER has moved into its new building in České Budějovice. The state-of-the-art complex occupies an area of 2,000 square metres, with room for up to 150 employees in the areas of technical project planning, production planning, product management, administration, service and IT. “The goal of this investment project is to support the continued growth of the HAUSER Group in the Czech Republic and around the world”, explains Thomas Loibl, CEO of HAUSER GmbH.

State-of-the-art operational building
The company’s consistent development and continuous growth over the past year have seen production exceed the capacity of the previous HAUSER facility in České Budějovice. To address this, the company decided to construct a new building to take the place of the previous, rented, premises. The building was erected in just 14 months, and contains both modern office spaces and social areas. Subsidiary company HAUSER spol. s.r.o. is also based in the new premises. The new building offers additional facilities for employees, including a “Fresh Point” social area with kitchen and break room, seminar and conference rooms, bicycle parking facilities and individual parking spaces.

A focus on energy efficiency
HAUSER supplies customers with exceptionally energy-efficient cooling units and refrigeration solutions. This expertise has also been brought to bear on the new building in České Budějovice, which uses the very latest energy technologies. The offices are heated and cooled by means of ceiling panels connected to heat pumps. As a result, the building’s overall energy consumption is very low, making it one of the most economical office buildings in the Czech Republic.

Successful expansion
The company, which will celebrate its 75th anniversary next year, originally operated exclusively within Austria. Then, in 1991, HAUSER set about expanding its business with the establishment of subsidiary HAUSER spol. s.r.o. in České Budějovice and a production facility in the Czech town of Kaplice. This strategic step served to fundamentally reinforce the company’s competitive position. The facilities in Kaplice, České Budějovice and Prague are all making substantial contributions to the company’s continuous growth. “As we press forward along this path of expansion, we are always on the lookout for skilled professionals to join our team”, says Loibl.
