The 46th World Championships of Professions - the WorldSkills 2022 - were held this year as part of this year's Chillventa in Nuremberg. Sixteen young technicians from all over the world competed against each other. Patrick Danninger won the silver medal in the profession "Refrigeration and Air Conditioning".
After the World Skills Championships, originally planned in Shanghai, could not take place due to the pandemic, it was held for the first time in its long history in 15 smaller competitions around the globe. The competition for refrigeration and air conditioning technology took place from 10. to 13. October 2022 as part of this year's Chillventa in Nuremberg. The second place is shared ex aequo by the Herzogsdorfer with his colleagues from Korea and Portugal. The world championship title goes to Taiwan.
