The Icebreaker from its origins to the present day

Explaining technology, highlighting people and projects, providing insights into the organisation – this is what our employee magazine Icebreaker aims to do. It has been published regularly since 2008 in our main languages – German, English and Czech. From an initial print run of around 550, circulation has now more than doubled to 1,350. Editorial meetings are held twice a year to bring together the latest topics of interest at HAUSER. These meetings are followed by an extensive development, coordination, editing and graphic design process to ensure that each issue (32 pages on average) is filled with a rich variety of content.

In the course of its 13-year existence, the magazine has undergone a number of relaunches and, from its beginnings as a relatively informal “magazine by employees for employees”, has evolved into a professionally presented, exciting showcase of our projects and achievements. Only the name has remained the same, and with the objective of serving as an “icebreaker” that brings together employees from all locations.

The weddings and births page has always been particularly popular and shows how the “HAUSER family” is continuing to grow.
