HAUSER establishes a site in Budweis
Budweis (Czech: České Budějovice) is the largest city in South Bohemia with a population of roughly 93,000. The city is famous throughout the world for its rich culture and locally brewed Budweiser beer. The world’s oldest pencil manufacturer, Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth, also is headquartered in Budweis.
HAUSER also recognises the potential of the Czech metropolis between Prague and Linz, and since 1991 Budweis has been the headquarters of our Czech subsidiary “HAUSER spol. s r.o.”. In 2020, a new, modern company building was built for up to 150 employees from the Technical Project Planning, Product Management, Administration, Service and IT departments. The Production Planning department is also based in Budweis. It is in charge of capacity planning for refrigeration unit production and ensuring that sufficient production materials are available. Each unit consists of about 200 individual parts, which are recorded on a parts list.
