Job profile

On the technical designer apprenticeship with the main focus on manufacturing systems engineering, you will learn the following skills:

Project-focused work based on knowledge of project management and quality management
Designing machines, systems and components
Producing model shots and sketches
Creating drawings of specialised components and machine assemblies, covering a variety of views and angles
Performing technical calculations
Using design methodology and mechanical engineering technology, as well as solution delivery
Selecting materials to meet set requirements
Controlling the manufacturing process and setting deadlines
Commissioning and optimising designed machines
Creating subject-relevant documentation
Conducting meetings with suppliers
